Consumer unit in a shower room!

Renovating a house at the moment and the mains position and consumer unit was in a little toilet room. It is now being turned into a shower room and cost to move meter is too much for the client.
It is just out of zone 2 but obviously still needs a boxing in of some description. What degree of protection is required for it....?

At least they wont need to connect the fan to the shower circuit.

not the best idea. steamy shower + improper ventilation = condensation drops. water and electricity do not mix very well.
if you have to then fit a ip rated enclosure around the meter and service head and get the consumer side tails out of there.

Hang on, how about a 36 inch fan to pull the condensation out, might also save on towels, blow dry
