Is it normal for Hager contactors to humm when switched on?

This has been a problem with hager contactors for a few years now.I thought they had redesigned them.Take it back to where you got it and hager will replace it..

Have had the same issues lately on 3 rental properties I look after. Swapped the first one out and wasn't any better.

All contactors will hum to some extent, if it’s not intrusive ignore it.
