continuity test on rfc

hi all

i'm doing a continuity test on rfc
r1=.70
rn=.69
r2=1.14
but when doing r1+rn/4 it should be .36 but getting .74 on all sockets
and r1+r2/4 should be .46 but getting .83 on sockets
is this just due to loose connections somewhere

are you cross connecting the L and E at the CU to measure your R1+R2, with the cables disconnected from their respective CU terminals?

yes and the same for r1 and rn. all IR results are good also

Have you tried taking the sockets off and measured at the terminals.

Had the same problem a few months ago and it was down to cheap arse sockets!!

Wouldnt think all outlets would give same reading often with worn or cheap outlets readings vary wildly

From the readings it may be a loose l1 connection generating about 0.5ohm resistance near the CU
or make sure you are cross connecting tightly in the CU.

make sure you've connected leg1 L to leg2 E and leg1 E tro leg2 L.
