I have an entry way that has 3 switches. One for the hallway, one for the front porch, and a third for a study outlet which is a room off the hallway.
I want to convert the switched outlet to a ceiling light that I am installing in the study. I would like the outlet to always have power and not be worked by the switch.
The complexity is that somehow the switch to the outlet also powers the other two switches for the hall and porch.
My first attempt I thought I had it wired correctly but when I turned the switch on and off for the ceiling light in the study it also turned power on/off to the other two switches.
I attached a diagram of what the existing wiring looks like and the ceiling light I would like to add.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
