cooker and hob socket

Hi, I Have a dedicated cooker switch above my work surface wired to a 32A fuse and have a new built in cooker which has a 13A plug fitted and electric hob. I have found a 45A cooker connector with plug socket as in my first picture which would be wired in behind the cooker,, but was wondering if The Screwfix 45A 2 gang cooker switch as in my second pic, mounted to a surface pattress box behind the cooker, would do exactly the same thing? Any help would be most appreciated.
Kind regards, Kev.

Thanks for your reply. Yes to plug the oven into and hardwire the hob into. The socket would not be seen as it would be behind the integrated cooker.

You can get an unswitched dual outlet plate with socket outlet.

It wouldn't be a good idea to put the isolation switch behind a cooker.

I don't see what you're trying to achieve. You've found the correct item to use, so why do you want to bodge the job with a part not intended for that use?
I was just asking because both seem to do exactly the same thing in theory although one is twice as much as the other and as it's not seen why would want to pay twice as much?

One is a little bit more expensive than the other, but also, one is LAP from Screwfix, which doesn't tend to be the highest quality on the market.
Both need a surface box to mount them, and if that's all you're buying, Superlec will add on carriage for orders less than £50.
