My mate's wife sprayed cleaning fluid into the front of the cooker hood and now the lights and fan don't work. Nothing has tripped in the CCU. Any thoughts on what's happened? Not much experience with cooker hoods. Thanks

Is this something a sparkie would mess with then? Or a cooker/appliance specialist?more likely the printed circuit board behind the control buttons.
I had a call out for a faulty kitchen fan once.
Take a look at this photo and see if you can see what was causing "the burning smell".
