cooker switch+socket combined

second fixed a kitchen to day and put in the cooker switch with a single socket on the same plate . led for cooker switch stays on all the time either if it is on or off and single socket only works if the cooker switch is on.whats yer verdict?????????? ...drove me mental 2 day

You've messed/mixed up the Feed and load ..... Are you qualified? I only ask as you say "drove me mental 2 day".

yeah im qualified.and the feed and the load are fine. its the same with the hob switch

As above, sounds like you've mixed up the connections. That would give you the symptoms you've described.

they are two brand new switches with socket. there is no load yet the cooker and hob havent arrived yet the load cable is just in connectors

Has the switches been labeled wrong? Try the above.

I doubt very much they have labelled the terminals wrong.... If they have get a 'claim " in quick !
