I haven't wired a cooker switch with a socket before. Do I connect the socket off the 6mm cable for the switch (all on 32A MCBO) or should I take a separate supply for the socket eg off a ring as a spur. No useful instructions on the handy bit of paper with it (do they every say anything that tells you anything??)

It's this one! Still can't upload my own pic sorry.
Tried Firefox and Chrome. However I have just upgraded to Windows 10.......
 
Looking at it again Andy, I'm not confusing the double pole switch..... But - most embarrasingly, looking at the switch properly the terminals on the back of the socket are the CPC terminals, and just clamp the earth bar on the back of the whole unit.

Arrr - rather embarrassing as a first post!

I've just created a problem where there is none.
