Hello peoples, I want to pick your brains....
We booked our Honeymoon yesterday with First Choice.
We decided to go into the shop to get some ideas as we've never really done this before and ended up booking our trip.
They told us that their prices in store were exactly the same as online, so basically all they did was search the internet for us.
We got back home to find if we'd stayed in bed and booked it ourselves we'd have got it ÂŁ220 cheaper from exactly the same people for exactly the same holiday.
That's basically the online booking discount.
I'm going back in today to get it sorted, but I was wondering if there was any OFT or FSA guidelines that say there's a 14 day 'cooling off' period like with other things i.e. mobiles, insurance policies etc.
I've looked but can't figure it out....
I just want something set in stone that I can use to help me sort this out.
Just wondering if any of you guys and gals might have done something similar and would know the coo...
Any help would be massively appreciated.
Yours sincerely
Colin the mug.
