I'm on the look out for a decent but compact cordless drill/driver doesn't need to be hammer drill etc just for screw driving screws but be able to change bit example for hex drive tech screws etc screwing into plastic cladding fitting some plastic pipe clips etc for a fire alarm air sampling system would like something small that will fit nicely in snickers pockets and tool bag

Any recommendations

Thanks

I was looking at some makita df330? But ones I saw were either body only or erm pink... Just looked at the hilti looks a bit big not looking for a full size drill

Thanks

Bosch 10.8 Li-on. Had it over a year and its faultless. Loads of grunt, use it with multi bosch blue drill bits and its ideal for drilling walls, downlights etc...

Thanks for the input them makita seem very good price don't know why I didn't think to look there...

Just been looking online at these and the impact driver mentioned above, excuse my ignorance but whats the difference? Is one better than the other? In the past I've known impact drivers be something for releasing stubborn screws...

The impact driver gives you loads of apparent torque with low reaction to your hand. So good (but noisy) for driving larger screws. I prefer an ordinary drill-driver for smaller stuff.

Right thanks, I think a normal drill driver is going to be sufficient for my needs like the look of the makita and the Bosch so going to have a good look

Thanks again

I've just bought one of these from Selco for ÂŁ120 inc. It came with 3 batteries and I'm very very pleased with it.
I'm not sure if the offer is still on now though.
