Hi all
Need to drill some 50mm holes through a wall What do you guys advise - should I look at buying a Diamond Core set, TCT or individual bits? I would need to use them with my Dewalt SDS or should I look for a cheap core drill as well ?? :)

Ensure that the drill you use any core bit with has a clutch.
I made the mistake once & paid for it with a snapped tendon in my thumb, when the 50mm core bit snatched spinning the drill in my hand.
I now have a hand with a thumb that isn't stable when holding heavy items even after an operation to (unsuccessfully) re-attach the tendon.

What about something like this.....you get the core for a 4" fan aswell.......................

the makita core drills are the only core drills i will touch, since i broke my wrist as an apprentise with an auger and drill with a ****e clutch im very warry of the horrrble snatch you get on most cor drills. my bosch sds is more than happy banging a 4 inch hole in.
