i'm getting worried now. .i'm totally nuts, and my doctor doesn't like me.

In my experience, a doctor on their own would not make the decision to section someone, even less likely with two!

On a more serious note, some while since I was involved in this sort of thing, but sectioning someone doesn't just rely on a medical doctor, there were other health care professionals involved.

So it might just be a case, that now its one doctor and other health care professional.

Yes the doctor doesn't make the initial decision.
The basic process is that a metal health professional makes a request to section a person and this has to be signed off by two medical doctors.
I dont know the full details off the top of my head, it's been a long time since I've been near the actual process.

I wouldn’t be overly concerned; just redeploying Doctors across the system in the current crisis.
