Hi just looking for advice (or to see if anyone has had this done) if any one knows the cost of installing electrics from a main house to a static caravan about 15ft from the house. Tia

The cost will depend on how permanent this arrangement will be… and how much load the caravan is going to be taking

Short term, a 16A socket on the outside of the house, RCD protection inside and a caravan hook up cable…

If you’re then planning to add high power appliances into the caravan such as electric heating, or instant hot water heater, then everything would need updated to cope, and even making the supply cable a more rugged armoured cable.

Price wise, if everything was straightforward… £150-ish…. But could be anything around 5-600 for something more permanent.

BTW, the LD at the house will be 1" to accommodate the 6/3 coming from the house. Will use a 1" to 3/4" adapter to neck down to the 3/4" conduit...
