Cosumer Unit Tripping

Hi, Hoover Washing machine on fast spin tripping fuse box / consumer unit, 3 or 4 times now. Any advice much appreciated. Thanks Stephen.

Is it an rcd tripping?

I found a faulty washing machine where there was a water leak inside the machine during the drain cycle. Small breather pipe inside had separated from the drum.

Either water as above, or the drum moving about on fast spin has damaged a wire and is shorting to it.

Many thanks for your reply. Machine likely 15 years old. So thinking needs replacing.
