We're finishing installs day after day but struggling to commission them because of the short days. If deliveries turned up on time then we'd have no problems.

SRE and others...who did you bribe to get the panels in time - we're still waiting for our scheduled delivery of 17th Nov for 7 kits!! Bring on 7pm tonight...call your MP now, tell him you want turkey, not crisps this year and save this industry...

Ordered everything on 28th & 31st October from wholesalers who we have a relationship with, didn't shout when stuff wasn't delivered (including by someone who regularly says he's got kit on this forum and then can't be bothered to respond to phone and text messages) and most importantly - we've lived on next to nothing for 12 months and stashed the cash for exactly this situation because the writing was on the wall a long time ago that this would happen, so we were able to pay cash, in advance for everything we needed. We just didn't think it would be December - we were planning for January.

yep, I reckoned I had 2 years to ride the wave before there were too many installers chasing diminishing numbers of installs. that 2 to fall back onyears was up in April and I have my electrical business and other things to fall back on. would have been nice to carry it on to April as we only really got going in August but there you go

25 teams.
Loads of solarworld and suntech panels.
Fronius 3.6 and Aurora Power one 3.6 inverters coming out of our arses.
Plenty of rails.
Plenty of electrical supplies.
On schedule to complete in time...........probably.

Instals to do after the 8th Dec...............err...................anyway....................yeah.......we will be fine...............:hanged: lol

5 to do but just been told wont get one top of the range kit so that will have to be a u no wot! all other kits HAVE BEEN PROMISED FRIDAY then 4 instals just hope clients get fits!!!! had one client who we did 7 weeks ago who POWERGEN lost his first form even though he had registed post it!! got excepted YESTERDAY after doing it again!!! if i get no gear friday well i realy dont no!!!! but decide end of december before REAL take the dosh!!! tosh

On the whole we've had pretty good service from our wholesalers without the risk of ordering direct from the manufacturers just to save a few quid. All of our customers have had their panel of choice and only 2 have had to have their inverter swapped for a different one and that was because someone on this forum didn't deliver on their promise. Fortunately one of our other suppliers bailed us out and our customers had a range of panels to chose from instead of being forced down the route of one brand.

It suited us but may not suit others but I have no complaints about the wholesalers, they've had it just as bad as us.
