The 7 kits we're waiting on are the seven system changes we had to make - you were lucky SRE, you must have been placing orders at that solar show before the official announcement. You obviously realise many of us have been promised and let down (like your pal on this forum perhaps) - in fact for 2 or 3 we had to change the panel type more than once! Watched the kids tea party at Westminster last night - a vehicle perfectly designed to prohibit debate: 'thank you my honourable friend for giving way, you made your point terribly well etc etc etc...oh, 2 minutes have gone and I haven't actually said anything'.
So the 12th remains in place but the c/period has been extended to the 31st...

We have ordered roof kit a month in advance to save on costs for a while now and we'd just had a delivery so we only needed an extra 8 kits and we always carry a stock of peripherals - basically as soon as we get confirmation from a customer to go ahead we order the stock, no matter how far in advance the installation is but yes, we were ordering inverters in a traffic jam on the M6 on the Friday night.

Not sure about luck but we do plan well in advance and our major saving grace which lots of new installers haven't got is that we had cash in the bank to pay up front for everything. I'm looking forward to ending my 12 month diet of beans though ......

Phew, just the 2 left for us at this stage, however we have one that's hanging about with a customer who's taking time to decide. Either way I'll be glad when this is over - getting the kit sourced has been murder.

well ITS nearly FRIDAY its 5 to 5 and it ?????????? lol well will i get A FULL KIT? will i get the missing bits from last FRIDAY? i will collapse if it fails to turn up!!!!!!!!!!!!1

3 to go, gales and hail for the last 2 days made it much more difficult. Final push this weekend to get the paperwork sorted out and fingers crossed for the weather for the next couple of weeks.

hi guys, any spare leads available in Worcester/midlands area if you happen to be turning new customers away? we will sort you out a finders fee once site surveyed. We are a new firm and have time and kit to do a couple installs before the deadline. would be of great help to us right now. thanks!
