Hi all, sorry if this is in the wrong section.
I'm several months into a course at college and finding out the structure is proving to be a nightmare.
Finally found out the title: EAL 1605. I was told that I'm studying the level 2 but have since discovered that this course is Level 3 only. I was told that I need to study my level 2, then my level 3 then do my NVQ, as I understand this new qualification covers all of these, is this correct? Will I only be assessed at college for the knowledge units? I ask because we spend half the time doing practical. I was told the NVQ covers industrial and agricultural instillations, but after looking at the unit descriptions it looks like I could complete the units working entirely on domestic instillations. Is this the case? If so does that mean that I could complete all the piratical units volunteering with a domestic installer?

Thank you for reading, any advice would be much appreciated!

Cheers

All the incorrect advice advice so far has come from them! It's a new course but they should understand it before leading us to believe things that are untrue. I would rather not say where as I know one of my tutors in on this forum. any advice is much appreciated, especially about the piratical units/NVQ.

Cheers
