Hi everyone,
First post so please take it easy on me. I have been looking through the forum and have seen a lot of companies that offer a lot of courses and it boggles me a little bit (if im honest).
My first question is i am in scotland and the course that interests me is the olci training center, I know that there has been a lot of write ups about this training center but in your honest opinion is the centre a good place to get your qualifications. ?
Second question after I have completed the course I know a electrician with 15 years of experience both offshore and inshore and will be carrying on my studys with him part time to get my knowledge to the best i can before making a step to either self employment or working for another company. The question is really after all the training will i be able to actually be a good electrician and be able to undertake day to day electrician work.
I would love to hear from people who have already done the course and see what they are doing now.
I know you have heard it all before and there are a lot of posts the same but please try and answer if you can it would be much appreciated if there are any other ways in which i can do the same course that would be great as well i am a qualified cabinet maker/joiner and would like to merge the electrician with it.
THANKS
