Testing a T&E ring main I had the following results, why would the R2 reading be slightly lower than R1 & Rn
the T&E was quite old and the conductor size of R2 was not 1.5 slightly smaller maybe 1mm, ideas on a postcard please
R1 reading 1.2
Rn reading 1.2
R2 reading 1.1

supplementry bonding maybe, if this is the case what the next course of action? I'd be likely to leave it as it is

As you know, when doing continuity readings the cables should be disconnected from the fuse/MCB so parallel paths is an unlikely explanation unless the RFC has been wired in a conduit which is earthed and therefore still connecting to the bonding. As long as you're sure the readings are correct I'd agree with leaving as is mate
