Cracked meter box

Doing a rewire and when taking lights down in cloak room pendant dropped and smashed into meter leaving a big crack in the top of the meter box. Customer asking if he should contact Dno. What do you think lads leave it or get Dno out? Problem is I've pulled fuse and fitted new tails in meter. What to do?

you have accidentally damaged the DNO meter... ring them tell them they will send some one out and either repair it or says its ok...!! accidents happen! if you leave it and some thing happens the poo will fire your direction

Tell them the seal was missing when you arrived.

And fix bayonets. They will be removing the imaginary seals to replace the cracked meter anyway.

And be ready for who ever turns up not to be remotely bothered the seals are missing and new tails installed. Bet he won't even re seal it either
