I,ve got a diy book from the 1950,s and that shows you how to make a tester for checking appliance faults,repairing Hoovers etc and it,s just like that ,2 wires attached to a lampholder.the yanks behind the times with this one,mind you in the book it does say to stand on a rubber mat during use lol.
 
I often wonder whether some of these people know what they are presenting in these videos is wrong but the the lure of another pay cheque over rides the ability to question the facts and information being presented with the video directors / producers.

British Gas is another of these companies that will try to diversify into everything on the back of their core business, the trouble with BG is some of the sales techniques used are not as honest as they could be IMO
