cheers I thought it might be something different but I have a pair of wiha
so you crimp with your wiha, then check the result and say " it's a good 'un... weee haa".

Is it the Wiha 41246 you have, if so I would be interested to know the biggest dia cable you have been able to successfully crimp, I do find on the larger size's I can't get enough pressure with the ones I pasted above to squeeze the ferrel tightly enough to make good contact, but then I have Arthritis in my hands and resort to putting the tool on the floor and putting my body weight on it for anything over 5mm or resort to the Hydraulic crimper I have which is very unwieldy, saying all of that some of the crimps I have acquired over the years could be squeezed together by a six month old.
