Cscs card ?

Hi Guys, does anybody know if the electricians cscs card is different than a standard cscs card that you can get free training for when you are unemployed ?

Ok I have finished my el. course and I have been waiting for some CITB card. I dont know exactly what does mean this card. I wanted ask you which card I will need ? you know if no enough this card or if I need make CSCS card yeah and sorry for my english I am from Slovakia

To summarise The CSCS car is to prove that the holder has had some basic Health and Safety training, This is shown by different levels of the card holder.

For example a red card holder (trainee) will not be required to know or be expected to recognise thel risks that a gold card holder (approved electrician / supervisor)

The approved electrician due to experience should be responsible for others

When CSCS cards started out about 7 years ago it was something that was only seen on major sites, I do now know that a local building company to me has all it's employees and sub-contractors to have CSCS cards to work on any Wigan MBC sites. So this card seems to have taken off.

To answer your question if you will require a CSCS card for an electrican

Electrotechnical Certification Scheme (CSCS Affiliated)

Further back in this thread kung stated that there is a 3 month wait for JIB grading, If you goto the link above they will advise you of availabity and location of courses

The book is honestly a waste of money, 90% of the answers are common sense and you'll know the answer after reading the question. I was in and out in less than 10 mins with a pass.

why not save yourself some money and print it out?

Hi maybe you wont never ever believe me but i have a book for cscs card and ............I don t understand if i have study all the book or if there s a paragraph dedicated just for electrician? I mean the color of the page which one color is for electrician

it used to be red with black lettering. now i think it's brown with blue lettering.
