The meter type won't make much difference as its the wiring on the ct side of the test block that needs to be installed, providing that is correct the meter operator will be responsible for all connections from test block to meter.

Does that help?sorry picture hasn't uploaded will try again!

Stu’s drawing will work, but they won’t accept two cores in a terminal block.

The whole idea of a test block is so things can be tested and isolated safely.

I’ve only worked on MV metering test blocks where the VT could be isolated by inserting insulated plugs on the voltage test block.

I use Red Yellow Blue Black simply because Brown Black Grey Blue can’t be seen on screen.

This is what EON will expect to see. G/Y is not used for the CT S2 connection to the test block.

Hi guys, I have the exact same query and would like to see if there are any drawings for the connections.... all the links seem to be dead links.

Any help would be appreciated

Totally agree and I argued this point to the main builder and he just came back saying it's what they want just do it.

Obvious to me, both the DNO and the builder have not a clue on how to do it, lots of parameters need to be specified, you can't just stick any old ct in, IMO the DNO is responsible.

What makes the shorting block? You will normally be supplied a schematic when you purchase one. Could try trawling through the owen-brothers website to see if they have diagrams.

Complete guess, but it's probably cheaper to let a separate meter read a CT clamp and send the data to the charger's microcontroller using rs485...
