CU change tips and tricks

Hi all,

Got my first Elecsa assessment in a couple of weeks, one of my jobs I'll be showing him is a CU change, I'm happy with the theory but just wondered if any of you learned chaps had any tips or tricks when doing this kind of thing,experience is a wonderful thing

One more thing, will I be picked up for using the wrong size earth sleeving, I've got loads of 4mm stuff which I was going to use in the garage where I'm putting a new ring main in.

the nic pulled one of our guys for wrong sized sleaving during his annual inspection

What the hell is wrong with these people? (not you down2earth I mean the inspectors!)

How can this possibly affect the installation?

On my first assesment a got pulled on sleaving no blue on the black i think i will get kicked out on the next one lol i have lernt a lot this year

If my NIC inpsector tried to get me for wrong sized earth sleeving I would laugh in his face and join the ECA.

I can't see a problem with earth sleeving being to big, but if it's too small and it splits it could cause arcing.
