Any reason why 6x1.5 mm singles within 20mm plastic cinduit on surface shouldnt be used for a 3kw load. Length if run is about 6 metres. Fused a 13a via sf spur.

From an electrical installation point of view I'm sure this may be true but if you want to get the best motor performance and reliability it would be wise to be aware of the size and duration of the start current.When calculating cable sizes for motors you do not take into account starting current, only running current.
