If the cut off dat e is the 12th of december

does this mean the paper must processed by then ?

or

as long as the installation date is before the 12th will it be ok say if the supplier gets paper work for 14th / 15th?

Everything must be done before the 12th. That means Friday the 9th for systems to be installed and commissioned and all paperwork completed and with the FiT supplier. Leaving it that late may give you sleepless nights until it is all confirmed.

No doubt the FiT suppliers will be overloaded with paperwork too, so always room for mistakes.

Spoke to N Power this morning and was told that as long as they receive the FIT application form before midnight on the 11th then the current tariff level will apply. Obviously the 11th is a Sunday so that is not going to happen, but send it proof of postage to get there for the Friday and it should be OK. Other suppliers may be different so check!

Could email one too just in case...

We are getting lots of questions on this at the moment. I have just spoken with a partner who confirmed that the whole system has to be installed the inverters commissioned and all the paperwork done by the 12th. This is going to make for a very interesting few weeks.

Apparently stock is already running low, installers are booked up and prices are going up in the short term!
