Majestic! First lie in in about two weeks, now watching match of the day in bed with some tea and toast. Newcastle don't play til Monday night so not even they can spoil my day [emoji1]

Cheers Paul!

Hows things anyway?

Really good mate. Working up in the North East and North Yorkshire, beautiful part of the world with really nice friendly people. I'll give you a buzz next time I'm close to "Toon".

Guessing your working hard.

Yeah give me a call when you're up mate

I'm really busy but feel like i'm running around a lot and not achieving much at the minute, doing little bits of everything to keep different people happy and not closing much off, hopefully finish some bits off this week though

Busy week coming up, finishing off the last 3 circuits of a house rewire in Middlesborough, installing some tray in a factory in Durham and finishing off 1st fix house rewire in North Yorkshire next week. I've also been asked to help out on a fire alarm install for a pub in South Yorkshire for a couple of days next week! Need to be in 2 places at once lol.

Ended up on a two hour fault find with my mate, a relatively recent re-wire of his where the upstairs lights have recently started tripping the MCB...

IR testing and disconnecting everything until we traced it to a switch wire on the light above the back stairs, very small knick in the switch wire where it looks like it has been squashed or rubbed against the backbox lug.

Very enjoyable afternoon though as i love fault finding more than anything else :)

So it's not just me that enjoys fault finding

Created my own fault last week. House rewire, new CU and I missed the busbar with the RCD clamp/termination. RCD tripping every now and again, thought it was due to the other trades power tools. School boy error lol. I now have to retest the 4 circuits on that RCD, Zs readings will not be accurate and I'm a bit annul when it comes down to test results. Just ask Northstar or Doody Toody lol.

On the subject of creating your own fault. How many people have wasted time chasing around a ring trying to find the N-E short which is better known as a PME connection?
