really annoys me when people mistreat electricity because there so use to it being safe and working.l for example when your taking your time testing making sure things are safe and you get that one guy in the back saying "just connect it up"..... not even just electrical everywhere with electrical has a chance of a having asbestos.

Well you learn something new everyday when did curtain fitting become a trade, if a curtain fitter can blag 180 quid a day I'd say we are all selling ourselves short

We should be working together to bring our industries rates up, not questioning each other's pricing. It's a long time to become an electrician, and people deserve to be paid for their efforts.

Your bang on there mate, too many lads in this game can't stand anyone getting a better deal than them though and it's always easier to drag something down than it is to fight for improvement
