DBs, is this legal?

On the first pic, the left hand SWA comes in and is wire to the supply side of the 3 phase breaker, it feeds another distribution board. Is it legal?

On the second pic, it's a 3 phase board wired as a single phase. There is nothing to say that it's single phase, I only found out when the cover was taken off. Is it legal?

I would put a label on to identify what they are. End of problem.

What size cable is going from DB1 to DB2? What is the size of MCB protecting this cable? This may be a problem...

Pics 1 whats the protective device feeding that DB and pic 2 not wrong as the links are sized as per the supply. Would of been better to use a conversion kit though IMO

I would be straight off to the supply end of the DB to check breaker size against the small cable cos there's a big difference in cable size there. Could be a serious problems as the little cable may not have an effective ADS

It looks like the SWA at the bottom left of the DB is supplied straight from the main switch without any OPD !

Say you have 6 x 3 phase switch places and the main switch is at the bottom, can you add to the bus bars for additional ways???????? If you know what i mean..

Say make 6 way , into 8 way

Pic one could be an issue....
Or it could be back fused if the cable is less than 3m and goes to another OCPD.

Pic 2 looks ok, aslong as the links are the same size as the supply.
Prefer to see a conversion kit though...
I'd relabel the db into single phase numbers.

In pic 1 I think he is saying that the small cable that he has his hand on ostensibly feeding another db, if you look closely you cam see the larger cables that feed this db behind them. What size is the fuse that feeds this arrangement? If the fuse is too bog for the second cable (the one that comes of this board) the cable needs to be increased or the fuse downgraded. Nothing wrong with pic 2 just label it up as single phase.

A smaller cable can be taken from there to feed a small unit. Aslong as it is back fused.
It's common.

The cable in pic one with his hand on is obviously not the feed to the second board because if it were the neutral and earth conductors in the single phase board would actually be L2 &L3 the way it's connected!!!! I'd say the first pic defiantly requires fixing as there is no overcurrent protection for that smaller cable, a sub feed from that DB should either have come from a spare way or if no room taken through an enclosure and MCB next to that point.
The second pic is fine, You can actually buy linking kits to do this properly (mini bus bar that sits across the main switch) but as this is the old style it may not have been available at the time.

Could feed a 20amp tpn fussed isolator??
I think the spark testing should be able to identify this and if its acceptable.
