Well anyway Pal, and all your frictional comments leads me brilliants onto my next point, here is yet another analogy (For those of you, who are that magnetized away from their lunch, for just a jovial rant).
The "
Theme" here is ELECTRIC GENERATION, the possibility of over/under charge (Flat), and the adequately of cable and parts for current flow of SUPPLY and LOAD (Obviously, thought you would have guessed that, personnel knowledge, etc, but many people are reliant on computers, reference websites/books, mobile phones, etc).
BIKE DYNAMO!
Well I never seen a Dynamo shine very brightly!
The main points being that:
OVERCHARGE?
There is no battery storage: The cyclist needs to ride the bike to generate power the light (Hence no overcharge).
UNDERCHARGE/FLAT?
Since most dynamo's need the bike to be ridden to generate elec, then the light won't be useable when the bike is static.
ADEQUACY OF PARTS/CABLE?
The dynamo thumbwheel creates alot of friction, on the tyre wall, slowing the rider down, reducing momentum, and wearing tyres more rapidly.
