Hi Pete,
The roof kit is all Renusol and the roof seal is Klober. Think I can modify my boxes to accept a lock if needs be.

The isolators need to have a conformity certificate modified isolators are not acceptable.The Renusol rails and fixings are not certified to be included in installations that are to apply for the FIT's tariff, will need to use certified equipment.

please find attached the 2 compliance data sheets for my inverters.
The Scottish Power unit prices inc VAT @ 5% are as follows;
Primary unit rate = 22.47 pence/kWh
Threshold/quarter = 225 kWh
Secondary unit rate = 11.302 pence/kWh
Night rate = 5.907 pence/kWh
If there is any other information you require, please let me know.

Hi Pete,
As far as I'm aware there is no such thing as MCS conformance on inverters only G83/1 which are the 2 PDF files I sent through.

i've just gone through the latest MCS pdf http://www.microgenerationcertification.org/images/PV%20Book%20ELECTRONIC.pdf and there is nothing here (page 36) relating to lockable DC isolators or any conformity certificate. AC isolators, on the other hand, do have to be lockable in the off position. What i have are actual DC isolators and not modified AC ones. Also, is the certification relating to the Renusol kit, MCS012? As this isn't compulsory until Sept 2013 and my kit comes under the universal bracket.

I have spoken to Hugh Cooper at Renusol 0755******** the MCS accreditation is due this September, the fixing kits are used over in Germany and should make the acceditation a formality will have to wait until then to use them.The isolators if you give me the Manurfacturer and the part number I will check them for MCS conformity.

I have also spoken to Hugh and this Renusol kit is fine to use now and I will still be able to claim FIT. I know my DC isolators are fine. I'm going to draw a close to this now, as I'm finding I'm having to do too much work to prove to you that my existing kit is fine. I thank you for your time.
