I'll find out on Monday what's wrong. It was a great van so hopefully worth getting fixed and let someone else get a good van at a good price.

If the van itself is totally sound, have you considered getting a remanufactured engine?
Virtually a new motor at the fraction of the cost.
Assuming your a craftsman like most of us here, it's a relatively easy swap!

The vans mechanically sound, at least it was until yesterday morning!! It's a 56 plate with 108000 on the clock, silver, roof rack and tow bar. Couple of cosmetic dents.It's had seat covers on from new so the interiors immaculate. If it's needs a new engine I would consider a recon engine, as long as it's economically viable. I'll find out tomorrow the outcome.

it is if it still uses a tax disk i think, if he did it digitally or online then its not (you get the tax back when you sell vehicle
