DECC have until tomorrow to lodge their appeal in the supreme court- will be done in the Final hour I would imagine again.

They lodged it with what 5 minutes to spare for the court of appeal.

They put themselves between a rock and a hard place, there was no way they weren't going to appeal to the Supreme Court, what a waste of time and money. More damage done in the eyes of Joe Public.....

After parting with a lot of hard earnt money to get set up I cant believe whats happened and continues to happen.
Ive kept out of the pv business since december as i thought it would settle at 21p and it could have worked but now its all messed up well and trully

When will the application to appeal be heard? All I've seen is that it won't be before 3rd March.

Appealing to the Supreme Court is a long and drawn out process, however. Because the Court of Appeal refused DECC leave to appeal, Ministers have to apply directly, a process that will take two months to conclude – after the March 3 contingency deadline for the FiT cuts. And should the appeal bid be successful, it will likely take a year before the case reaches the Supreme Court.

I think Barking and co now realise the industry can still make this work at 21p. Therefore he has decided to reduce the TAriff further to ensure he kills the industry off.
He has already stated his targets for Solar energy production, which wouldn't have been achieved even with the take up at 43p.
It is clear he is intending to kill off SSEG PV so that he can then cosy up to the big 6 in building solar farms.

This really is crazy it's like a roller coaster, how can we carry on with the waves of demand ! It's all DECC making, it will be the same again in July. People want to hold off and see because they (greg and co)have created Market instability, how can they plan/predict take up, how can we cope ! Sleepless nights wondering about customers orders....

On top off that a REAL audit scheduled in March ....!
