Hi Guys please feel free to pick the following to pieces just trying to put the theory into practise. I'm going to rewire my house as part of my assesment, 3 bed victorian terrace, below is a picture of the distribution with 6mm t&e (I think ) feeding the CU from a henly block, no main switch. TN-S earth neutral system.Fuse 100A ? (doesn't say)

1, Consumer Unit
a, Detach tails from henley and put in place main isolater switch 100A REC2S

b, from isoator to henly block 25mm² tails

c, from henley to CU 25mm² tails into 63A main switch

d, renew main bonding and MET 16mm² MET to CU

e, 10mm² to incoming gas and water with appropriat labelling

f, split 10 way CU with 2 x 30mA RCD rest type B MCB
2, Beyond the C/U

a, final ring down 32A mcb RCD protected 2.5mm² 9 double sockets

b, final ring up 32A mcb rcd protected 2.5mm² 12 double sockets 1 FCU (combi boiler)

c, final ring kitchen and utility 32A mcb rcd protected 2.5mm² 6 double sockets 4 FCU (various int. appliances)

d, radial for oven and hob 40A mcb rcd protected 6mm²

e, lights down 6A mcb rcd protected 1.5mm² 6 40w spots 6 100w lamps

f, lights up 6A mcb rcd protected 1.5mm² 10 40w spots 4 100w lamps

g, lights kitchen back and exterior 500w security 8 40w spots 4 100w lamps

3, Garage

a, 2.5mm² SWA from 32A mcb in main CU to 30mA RCD in garage CU

b, small ring 2.5mm² 32A mcb

c, light 1.5mm² 6A mcb

Testing I'm fine with but will learn more when I physically do it rather than trying to soak up sequencies and regs from endless books.

Phewwww got there in the end this is my proposed design and actually have already answered a few of my questions writing this. Does this seem ok, overkill, or wrong please let me know :)
