ÂŁ200 for a 14v drill thats not worth it try and get an 18v if you look around you can get on offer

I have this one I got it from screwfix on offer for 119 http://www.*************/prods/40163/Power-Tools/Cordless-Drills/DeWalt-DC725KA-18V-Combi-Drill now 220. I recomend it.

However Hitatchi are doing a 18v combi drill for 79 http://www.*************/search.do;...ECSTHZOSFFA?_dyncharset=UTF-8&fh_search=83756 plus two batteries.

Don't know about the performace though but just to show you can get get cheaper, look around mate.

Just seen this also http://www.*************/prods/51221/Power-Tools/Cordless-Drills/Bosch-18V-Li-Ion-Combi-3-batteries# ÂŁ180 for a bosch with 2 bats thats a good offer unless its a rubish drill, just look for reviews.

I've got makita 18v 3a li-on drill and it is amazing, was 150 quid from screwfix with one battery. The limited edition ones aren't bad either with the black and white body and light which are same price.

Personally I'd go 18v as you can add so much other stuff from the 18v range. I use dewalt as I like the colour lol it matches what I wear. Seriously though my tool supplier is the dogs cahoonas when it comes to problems outside of warranty I think the after sales from dewalt are pretty good. I've got the angel grinder which is great for doing tray work. I know you said your budget is 200 but if you push the boat out you can get a drill + impact + batteries for 300 quid. It's defo cheaper buying box sets. I got the plunge saw for doing floorboards and the recip for chopping out crappy old conduit. Ask the misses to buy you a radio charger for Xmas. Makita make some great tools but once you buy one just think of what you may want to extend to later. Buy cheap buy twice! Caveat emptor!
