i am doing a kitchen rewire at moment and finally got first fix done last night, there is around 40 spotlights(50W) in kitchen plus led lighting around worktops and in island and large pendant fitting over table ... now its ended up that we need 6 switches,

we have divided spots in kitchen to 3 switches and leds on a switch and pendant on a switch plus the under cabinet lighting on a switch .. now hes text me this morning and finally said he wants the spots on dimmer switch.

now after looking i can see you can get 3g dimmer switches but not 2g dimmer plus a normal 1g switch ...... how would any of you guys approach this,, or any tips on who i need to be ordering from... very likely a brushed steel finish....

40 is a lot !, i bet its nice and warm in there

Ive noticed the LED comment flying about a little, which would be great for energy saving, but shyt for ambience, why do people fit LEDs in GU10 fittings !? they give a horrible projection and amibience of light

LED's are excellent for a torch, cack for home lighting

back on topic, best option is GRID style dimmers as mentioned above !
