Hi all, does anyone know if it is ok to have more than one dimmer on the same switch faceplate? Customer want`s more than one, but someone told me that they can affect each other.

Has anyone had such an issue?

might affect low energy lamps, but never kn own a problem with tungsten or halogens.

Maybe there talking about heat build up, manufacturers specify how much load a multiple gang dimmer can support and in what size back box

They are widely available in 2 gang for tungsten filament lamps, e.g. Crabtree 2 gang 250W Cat No.4132/PU or 2 gang 400W Cat No. 4192/PU, these are also ok with dimmable CLFs from Megaman and Energetic, but unsuitable for standard CLFs.
