I think I'd just move the main switch to this end, so the tails would reach.

Can't do that in those boards, the busbars are fixed in the back of the unit and everything just plugs in to it.

Who needs them? All they do is take room up

They just make the job overcomplicated too.

Ban main switches ..... it's chocky blocks all the way from now on!!!
