hi
our electrical company permits the installation of the inverters that have some delaying in reconnection to the grid.
example: if no power on the grid(maintenance), the inverter must not feed to grid so that no injuries can occur if are electricians working.
can anybody tell me a few inverters that has this kind of specifications?

thanks

You are actually meant to test it yourself (no one does) but your meant to turn off the AC isolator and time how long it takes the inverter to turn off (to comply it needs to be less than 5 seconds) there is no machine to do this, but in the electrical world 5 seconds is a long time and they should turn off in less than 1 second (you can easy do this by eye)

You sound like a sparky who used to work for us!

We do all the PV tests. It doesn't take long to do them all and I usually have them all done by the time the rubbish has been cleared up - which is a job I hate anyway!

If you haven't conducted all the tests, with appropriate results, then you shouldn't be signing the system off as G83 compliant and submitting it as such to the DNO.

How can you sign this document (old one I know :) ) without doing the test?
