Could anybody tell me if there is a maximum distance between the main head and meter?

ah OK. Can the DNO move the incoming supply ? I have a 3 phase coming into the basement which needs to be split between 3 flats & commercial. From what I'm reading meters are no longer installed in basements due to regs.
