DIY - any advice or thoughts on why only my middle outlet is working?

They are all connected to the same live "hot" wire, but only the outlet connected to the red wire will work.

Here is a image and a drawing of the wiring. [Yellow = Hot], tested using multimeter.


If anyone has any idea, I would be eternally grateful. Thank you.

By the pictures that you posted I would think that the problem is in the awful mess in your wall. You definitely have a splice that is not making a good connection. Even check the splicing where the devices are. Good luck
