UK DIY bathroom mirror installation

I have a lighting circuit on a 6 amp fuse on which my bathroom lights are connected to a ceiling pull switch. Am I safely able to connect a 24W illuminated mirror to the same pull switch so that the mirror comes on when the ceiling light does?
