Hi, I hope this the correct place for this post.

I've just replaced the selector switch for a kenwood oven as the last one had burnt one of the connectors.

The replacement looks fine but I have one concern. The connector that was melted had a plastic case around it but that is gone now.

From my picture, can you tell me what it is called, what it does and where I'd get a other from please?

The switch is a delonghi 50032 and it's the red cable on connection 5a (top right). The blue cable below has the same plastic cover.
