Right ... Just been nudged to set this up by Paul.M and sounds a good idea following recent threads I've done in the Arms..

Call out for yet another cooker element (4th in last 2 weeks) Fortunately local place in town had one in stock and was open today. But that dodgy one tested fine. Can only assume as it warms up the inner element touches the outer casing and causes a trip. Assume it’s from manufacture as it’s at the back of the oven with a metal fan casing over it and no damage to either the over wall or the fan casing.

Le Sparky Extraordinaire saved Christmas dinner.

Not all heroes wear capes. But we do have beards.

Got to keep the switch warm somehow. Stops it getting brittle and cracking in the winter.

Not dodgy trade this time, but a bit different. Changing an old Wylex, took board off and notices something was shiny and reflective in the gloomy murk:
