Yes me Bath DWOFollowing on from Sam's request, I thought I would try one, anyone on the Forum work for DOE/PSA from 1971 until Thatcher decimated the department in the late 80s?
Yes RAF Troodos and FCO British Embassy MoscowNo unfortunately not
So it would seem ?"All the old things are returning, Cosmic circles ever turning."
I worked at the LMD in Orange Street when Bill Buckland was the boss. Fun days back then in the early 80s. SES in Grosvenor Road was co-sited with the Apprentice Training Centre on Grosvenor Road. SES was definitely "special". I was in the PSA at a North London DWO then in SCH, LMD and finally Croydon just before Privatisation.I joined the PSA (Grosvenor Road, SW1, London) as an electrician in 1975 in the Special Electronics Section (part of the Lift Group based in Orange Street, London), went on to HMS Warrior Northwood to work in the hole, RAF Bentley Priory and took VER when the PSA was privatised.
