Does anyone vote Green?

I realise I may get a bit of stick for admitting this but I vote Green!

I'm pretty disillusioned with politics in general and dont particularly like any of the parties.. Tories being the worst!

I realise that most of us (myself included) think about how our vote will affect us as individuals and our immediate family, but what about in a 2 or 3 generations time? I'm not actually a hippy at all, but I do get frustrated about how we treat this planet (perhaps the only one that holds life (a pretty big assumption I know!)) and unless we change our behaviour climate change will have some pretty dire consequences.

Thats why I vote Green.

I voted Green, I became disillusioned with Labour under Blair and his PFI policies, amongst others, and the end of funding for free university education, which I think means we have a society now where the gap between rich and poor is only going to get worse. I am not a great fan of the party system though as there are occasional policies from all parties that I think might be ok.

most of the green idea,s are simply unfeasable,what I really hate about it all is the fact that saving the planet is so expensive,take the humble light bulb as an example.A normal 60w lamp which is so bad for the planet costs less than 50p,now a nice energy saving one which helps cut carbon emissions and is good for the planet is about 3 quid,same with everything green,if the MP's really were that bothered then everything that is energy efficient would be cheaper than non efficient items,It's just another way of seperating the poor downtrodden worker from his hard earned cash.

it's not just the cost of the lamp, it's the production of these so-called energy saving products that causes more pollution than they save. same with vans. OK, the modern vans are more fuel efficient and create less pollution, but by sticking to my old smoker, i'm saving the planet all the pollution caused during the manufacture of a new van, and also reducing the use of materials used. well, that's my excuse and i'm sticking to it.

I don't vote ( I'm sure I will get some stick for this ) but I can't find a party that I like or trust. Trust mostly. Politicians are just a bunch of lyers that will say something to get in then change it afterwards.
Regarding life on other planets. There are billions and billions of planets out there. One has to have life on it. As a line the song in 'The meaning of life' goes "And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space, cause there's bugger all down here on Earth!"

The reason nobody's ever discovered intelligent life on another planet is simply because it is intelligent,lets be honest the way we bugger everything up if you were an alien would you want anything to do with humans.

I would happily vote for any party who will make Great Britain just that!! Great and British. I am sick of all the pc crap that is going on, "Don't do this, it will offend some ethnic group", and "Don't call it Christmas, but Winter festival!!!" It is a joke and I for one would be happy to live on a croft away from all the 80llocks that is spouted in our once great country.
