I'm considering it as a protest vote, round our way (Tidyboiler will confirm this) you could put a monkey up and as long as it was wearing the Labour party colours it would get the seat.

Round my way it's the same only Lib-Dem.

But then as all politicians are the bleeding same anyway, what does it matter who is in government as long as the local MP does his job at a local level.

Try putting a monkey up for election in Hartlepool and they would put it on trial, find it guilty of spying for the French and hang it!!

No one in government is really interested in saving the planet
1. Standard light bulbs could be made to last forever
In the top 3 of polluters are sleeping policemen (they are everywhere ) and buses also the other one I,'ve forgotten now ( cows farts )
I do understand that lots of little things make a big thing but we pollute less than 2% I think. America China and India it's something like 80% +

Evenin' MDF ...... hoosit hangin' hinny??

I like my 20 year old Toyota Celica - 20 years old and no catalytic converter required or fitted and the MOT bloke reckons it's exhaust is cleaner than some newer cars that have them.

Who needs all this "green" crap??

Canny just now thanks Mark.

I think I could have turned a corner & started on the road to recovery. From being almost unable to walk a few weeks ago, today I rode an exercise bike for a full half hour.

I have a couple of dumbbell things (three if I include Tidyboiler) that I lift up & down a bit too :)

The Greens in one of the London boroughs now want a ÂŁ20 fine if you park up and leave your engine running and they think it is unnecessary, what will they come up with next

Round here if you park up with the engine running a ÂŁ20 fine is the least of your worries. Your van would be away faster than a driver change at Le Mans.
