Can't turn the power off to look inside. Could anyone tell me if this isolator have a BS number?

Im not sure kitchen foil has a BS number yet but it definitely should - the amount of times i used it to earth bits and bobs with. handy stuff
 
Bit big for a cooker isolator...

good for wrapping rouns a 1362 fuse as well.
 
The bs I quoted was from 1 I have in the stores in the box, however the switch is on the right hand side not the left so maybe I have a newer version

I think you may have the 'Excel 2' model with the switch on the right.

I would hazard a guess that it's a pre 1992 unit and therefore would be to BS 5419. The fuses inside however (assuming it is a switchfuse) and not a simple switch disconnector, could be anything.

Cheers Lenny. Yeah, at a guess its 25/30+ years old.

Unfortunately I can't look inside the box as I wasn't allowed to turn the power off
