It's been about 4 years since I last had to supply/fit a domestic board, what do people recommend these days in terms of brand bang per buck? Looking to fit a 14way SPD fully configurable as a replacement, probably leave the existing 6-7 ccts on the one RCD side as not going to be re-wiring anything, then need 4-5 SP MCB's for other sub's etc.

Fusebox full RCBO / SPD when I can get them(always a problem with demand outstripping supply) Contactum as my 2nd choice, and Wylex 2 way/RCDs for small add ons (kitchens and suchlike)

I think the Fusebox ones are a bit crap did a 20way recently and as soon as I took the lid off and screwed it to the wall it bowed out and looked like <> instead of []

I use Hager or Wylex
Not had a problem with the smaller ones - I guess steel thickness is one of the places that they save money. No flex at all on the Hager 20 Way I used a while back, though their dual RCD setup has some issues.

Locked in at my main residence in the UK at the moment, far from bored, boiler zone valve has started to by pass and it's not the usual synchronous motor problem, I wouldn't mind, but it's only twenty five years since I put it in, things just do not last now days. ?
